Hongchuan Benzene Storage Tanks - 2160㎡ Chemical Project Cooling Renovation
Hongchuan Group is a leading enterprise in the chemical warehousing market, with its tank capacity accounting for 10% of the entire chemical warehousing market. Jiangsu Changzhou Hongchuan Petrochemical Storage, as a member of Hongchuan Group, focuses on chemical warehousing as its core business, specializing in the storage and transportation of liquid chemical products. It has extremely high requirements for temperature control and needs to maintain a stable temperature for a long time.
Temperature control challenge for benzene tanks: overheating leads to explosion, overcooling causes solidification
The tanks where the adiabatic cooling technology was applied in Hongchuan Petrochemical, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province mainly store benzene chemicals, which are highly dependent on stable temperature control: overheating can lead to explosion, overcooling causes solidification, and large temperature fluctuations may cause abnormal pressure inside the tanks, posing storage and transportation risks.
The temperature difference between day and night in spring and summer at the project site can reach up to 21°C. Although traditional aluminum silicate insulation boards have heat insulation effects, their cooling capacity is limited, and they have long construction periods and high costs.

Wuxi Henglong Plaza - 3000㎡ Application, Temperature Reduction Up to 36°C
Wuxi Henglong Plaza is a flagship commercial complex in the city's core area, developed and operated by Hang Lung Properties, a global top commercial real estate operator. It has extremely high standards for the energy efficiency, appearance quality, and brand image of the building.
Last year, the project piloted the application of the power-free cooling coating in the roof area on the sixth floor, and the actual test results were remarkable. This year, the project further expanded the application scope, covering the entire roof area of approximately 3000㎡, comprehensively promoting green upgrades.

The average temperature of the roof before coating was 53.6℃. The roof of Wuxi Henglong Plaza is composed of aluminum plates and concrete, which have strong thermal conductivity. Combined with the heat from the kitchen and the impact of the west sun, the local temperature in summer can reach over 53.6°C, making it a major energy consumption point of the entire building.
